- 1&1 concluded a comprehensive national roaming agreement with Vodafone in August.
- 1&1 will be able to provide 5G MVNO wholesale services using Vodafone Network from December 2023 (pushed forward from September) and 4G services on transitional basis using Telefonica network until summer 2024, but this will need extension of parallel sales from the Federal Network Agency.
- Federal Network Agency is expected to make a decision on the extension of parallel sales in November 2023.
- 1&1 reiterated that it expects to have 500 antenna sites at the end of this month as well as 300 leased antenna sites.
