The ID.2all is an entry-level electric model that will be sold in Europe from 2026. It will start at €25,000 and have a profit margin of around 6%. Volkswagen is targeting to produce 100,000 units annually of the ID.2 in its Martorell plant in Spain.
In my opinion, the ID.2all is one of VW management’s key execution tests, proving they can deliver a profitable, sub-€25k EV at scale. The ID.2all is also viewed as the launch vehicle for Volkswagen’s new, cost-efficient platform (MEB Plus) that will scale across VW’s lineup.
