Meta Platforms to test subscription models with enhanced features and AI capabilities across core apps

Assessment
Assuming 2% of around 3.5 Meta users signed up for this subscription feature and Meta charges the same fee as Snapchat ($3.99 per month), it could generate around $279 million per month and $3.3 billion per year in the next two years from it. However, given Meta’s larger resources (compared to Snapchat), it may be able to scale the subscription faster.
