Meta brings Meta Movie Gen, says it’s the most advanced media foundation models to-date
- Meta premieres Meta Movie Gen, its generative AI tool for creating videos using text prompts.
- The company said the model outperformed similar models when tested by humans.
- The model has four functionalities; video generation, personalized video generation, precise video editing, and audio generation.
- Meta did not indicate when it will release this model to the public.
- According to TechCrunch, the Movie Gen’s ability to edit videos is a plus for Meta since it has been hard to do so in other video generators.
- Though the model can generate up to 16 seconds of video, the videos generated doesn’t have a voice yet.
