Bumble’s ‘For the Love of Love’ takes cue from Hinge’s success

Bumble recently launched a new ad campaign that features real couples who met on its app. “For the Love of Love” campaign is said to very different from Bumble’s 2024 global campaign, which used a more sarcastic tone aimed at tired women. Some of those ads faced criticism for joking about celibacy.

The approach is similar to Hinge’s ‘No Ordinary Love’ campaign, which shared stories of real couples who met on the app. Hinge reported positive results, including a 10.5% increase in brand consideration in the US.

It remains to be seen if the new ad campaign will improve Bumble’s brand position.

The campaign runs globally from late August until early December.
