Analyst Collection

We aim to identify and follow the world’s greatest analysts, leverage their research, and therefore add “virtual team members” to our community.

For the purpose of simplicity and organization, every analyst, economist, portfolio manager, central banker, scholar, columnist, economic advisor, etc. who analyzes the state of the economy will be called an analyst and receive an “analyst” tag.

We will develop clear guidelines on how to identify and assess analysts and their specializations, capabilities, biases, and their track record.
Additionally, we will provide guidance on how they should be presented in the first post in case there will be a new forum topic about them.

A collection of analysts will be found in the Wiki. (To be reorganized)

If we come across new analysts but are uncertain about them, they could be posted and discussed in this general analyst collection topic.

I just came across Jens Nordvig from Exante Data on Bloomberg.

Based on my short impression they might be interesting to look into (once we have some time) as they track U.S. debt issuances and institutional interest closely. (They see some reduction in interest - which could explain rising yields)

According to him some of their clients are close followers of CPI and expect CPI to start increasing in Q4 again.

I think I saw in the past an interview from him in Blockworks, and I remember thinking he was pretty decent too.
